Family Program

Families are welcome to participate in a Museum presentation throughout the summer if space permits.  Reservations are required.  Please contact us.

 Youth Organizations

Museum consultants are available to design an Indigenous program for youth and religious organizations.  Please contact us.

Educator Workshops

Teachers have the opportunity to enhance their curriculum by exploring a vast variety of content about Indigenous cultures, history and peoples, both historical and contemporary.  Workshops are aligned with New York State Learning Standards. Participants learn to:

·         Dispel stereotypes about Native peoples

·         Critique materials for accuracy

·         Integrate Native cultures into all areas of the curriculum

Hands-on projects include Native arts, literature, games, science, cooking, and math. Museum staff can accommodate requests for special workshops both on and off site, after school and on weekends. We are a registered NYC Department of Education vendor.   Please contact us.
